Hi Organizing Mom! I hope you find my book lists useful. As far as marketing my material. . . I'm just trying to pass on helpful info that I've gathered from other kind souls through the years. I hope Jo-with-it finds something she likes!

Hi Michelle!
Glad you enjoyed the chicken. You should be on the Children's Hour II list. It includes World Geography utilizing A Beka the first semester. Then, you move into the World History text the second semester. This allows you to spend more time (including 10th grade) on world history. It can really help if you are preparing for the World History A.P in 10th grade.

The literature reading is purely supplemental . . . time period oriented but lovely, interesting works that bring the history she is reading alive. Michaela's writing can incorporate the literature reading that ultimately ties together her world history class. Emily can help here.

Call me any time and we can talk about this

Kathy, can you explain more about your World history and how you choose books to supplement? I'm leaning toward Abeka World History but am wondering how you incorporate supplemental reading with it. Do you kids read the whole textbook plus literature? It would be alot for Michaela to read the whole text plus supplemental. . . if you have anyg suggestons, let me know! I love your blog but I started reading it with the intent of looking at the curriculum you use and ended up looking at all your recipes!!! We tried the chip. chicken tonight - it was great! What a great site - very encouraging!
