The post-modern world is rife with chaos and dysfunction. In contrast,the Renaissance conjures up visions of order and beauty. I believe these same ideals can be incorporated into our own lives in order to create bona vita, the good life, in our homes.
My husband and I currently reside near Fort Wayne, IN with our nine children, ages 5 to 21. We have educated our children at home for the past 14 years. I enjoy life with our family immensely. In my spare time I can be found reading, gardening, and cooking. Contact me at bonavitablog@hotmail.com.

Hi! I got you from Titus 2, Andrea. Seems like we have a lot in common. I like the idea of living a Renaissance life in a post-modern world. We have homeschooled for about as long as I can remember also.. LOL.
Love your blog. I am a homeschool mom. I have 7 children. I have the older three in school and homeschool the younger 4. It is very hard to find other women I can connect to and understand the life of a large family.
